Sibling trio Elan, Marged and Gwilym Rhys from Snowdonia. Plu, feathers in Welsh, play alternative Welsh language pop-folk, with close three-part harmonies as a back-bone to their varied set. Plu released their debut album in 2013 and they also made an album for children in 2014. Their third album 'Tir a Golau' was released on the Sbrigyn Ymborth label in 2015. All three albums were nominated for the Welsh Language Album of the Year and Tir a Golau was shortlisted for the 2016 Welsh Music Prize. The track, Gollwng Gafael, is from Tir a Golau, and Folk Radio UK commented that it had, "almost telepathic harmonies rising and falling like the breath of a sleeping dragon."
