BALLET CYMRU is a young, vital group of dancers who are pushing back the barriers of classical ballet. Using powerful and timeless stories the company challenges its dancers to interpret some of the finest characters in literature. Under the Artistic Direction of Darius James the increasingly popular dance company offers accessible educational workshops and exceptional, stylish performances.
Since its foundation in 1986 Ballet Cymru has a unique history of producing new work with and without funding. It has developed lasting relationships with venues in Wales, England, Scotland and Eire who have all contributed to the company's development.
